There was one embarrassing moment that I would never forget. One sunny afternoon, I boarded a crowded train back from my lunch break. As usual, the train was shaking and jerking but that wasn't the worse part. The worse part was when a young teenager gave up his seat to me, thinking that I was pregnant!
"Hey… Here, take this seat. The train is quite rough today, eh?" the teenager continued in a cheerful tone, pointing to my belly fat, "And it would be stressful for the little one inside".
To say that my world crashed on me is an understatement. I was utterly embarrassed and I sat down in the seat with a broken heart.
I felt depressed but instead of accepting my love handles as the reality, I decided to do something I would never have done if I hadn't felt that bad – I suddenly had the urge to do the fat burning exercise that I've been putting off.
